Weekend dentist in Vaughan: how to get seen on a Saturday

Is there a dentist open on Saturday in Vaughan?
Yes. Keele & Steeles Dental Office is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, and Saturday is a full-service day for every treatment we offer, not hygiene only. Closed Sunday.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. A Saturday that only covers cleanings sends you back for the filling on a Tuesday afternoon, which is the exact problem you were trying to solve. Here, the Saturday chair does the treatment too.
You have probably done the phone rounds already. Ask about Saturday, get offered the middle of a Wednesday. So the cleaning you meant to book two years ago stays unbooked, because nobody burns a vacation day on a cleaning.
We open six days because most people work five. Here is the full week:
| Day | Hours |
|---|---|
| Monday | 8AM to 3PM |
| Tuesday | 8AM to 3PM, plus 3PM to 6PM by appointment |
| Wednesday | 8AM to 3PM |
| Thursday | 8AM to 3PM, plus 3PM to 6PM by appointment |
| Friday | 8AM to 3PM |
| Saturday | 8AM to 3PM |
| Sunday | Closed |
If you want to confirm before you drive over, the contact page has the office details.
Are you open on Sunday?
No. We are closed Sunday, every Sunday.
If something comes up on a Sunday and it is not urgent, leave a message. The front desk calls back first thing when the office opens, and Monday morning is usually when the week still has room in it.
If you are in real pain right now, swelling, a broken tooth, something that will not let you sleep, that is a different conversation and it has its own page: emergency dental care, and what to do in the first hour. Go there instead of reading the rest of this. Scheduling advice is not much use to someone holding their jaw.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. We are not a walk-in clinic, and we will not suggest otherwise so you can drive over and find out the hard way.
Here is the part that actually helps. Pain and urgent problems get same-day priority when you call, six days a week. A routine appointment, a cleaning or a check-up, is usually available within the same week rather than the same afternoon. A parent who rings on their lunch break with a child in pain has a real chance of being seen that day. A parent who loads two kids into the car and hopes has a waiting room and a maybe.
Call first, always. The phone is what sorts urgent from routine, and it beats turning up cold.

What can you get done on a Saturday?
Real treatment. Saturday runs like any other working day here, so the question is less about the day and more about the procedure. If you come in for a cleaning and the exam turns up a small filling, that filling can often be booked into a later Saturday rather than a weekday you would have to take off.
| Visit type | Saturday | Weekday only |
|---|---|---|
| Exam and cleaning | Yes | |
| Fillings and general restorative work | Yes | |
| Children's appointments | Yes | |
| Nitrous oxide sedation, no referral needed | Yes | |
| General anaesthesia, very complex wisdom teeth, very complex orthodontics, complex paediatric cases | Referred out to a specialist | |
| Later appointments after work | Tuesday and Thursday, 3PM to 6PM, by appointment |
An exam and cleaning takes about an hour and is usually covered by a plan. What we will not tell you is that any given treatment finishes in one Saturday visit, because that depends entirely on the tooth. A small filling and a crown are different jobs. You get a written quote and a plan before anything starts, so you know how many visits and how much money you are agreeing to.
Nitrous oxide is available in house for any procedure, no referral, if the drill is the reason you have been putting this off. General anaesthesia cases we refer out. The full list of what we do is on the services page.
Can I get an appointment after work instead?
Later appointments run Tuesday and Thursday, 3PM to 6PM, by appointment. That last part is the operative bit: ask for one when you request your appointment, rather than assuming it exists on the day you want.
Because those slots are limited, they book up further ahead than Saturday does. If you have a flexible week and an inflexible Saturday, say so on the phone and the desk will work with what is open.
You can confirm the Tuesday and Thursday evening slots with the office through the contact page.
How soon can a new patient get in?
Usually within the same week you call. Often faster.
Two of our three dentists are currently accepting new patients. All three are registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. If your first visit is a first visit in a long time, the new patients page covers what happens and in what order.
Coverage is straightforward: we bill every insurer directly, CDCP included, so you pay only what your plan does not cover and you never pay the full amount up front to claim it back later.
How do I get there without a car?
We are at 2100 Steeles Ave W, Suite 203-204, in Concord. Second floor, elevator access, free plaza parking right outside the door.
By transit, the TTC 60 Steeles West and 41 Keele both stop at Steeles and Keele. YRT 107 Keele runs north on Keele from Pioneer Village. Pioneer Village station on Line 1 is about 1.5 km west along Steeles if you would rather walk the last stretch than wait for a connection on a Saturday.
That intersection also puts the office within reach of North York across Steeles, Thornhill to the east, Woodbridge to the west, and Maple and Richmond Hill to the north.

How to book a Saturday appointment
- Open the booking form on the contact page.
- Under appointment timing, choose Saturdays. That tells the desk what you need before anyone picks up a phone.
- Note anything relevant: new patient, a child's visit, a tooth that has been bothering you, or a preference for a later weekday slot instead.
- Send it. The form is a request, not a confirmed booking. The front desk phones you to set the actual time.
- Or skip all of that and call. The desk speaks English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Korean and Farsi.
